Kevin
Marshall, nationally known as “Mr. B & B”, is the
owner and operator of the
Dutch Iris Inn in Granby, Connecticut. A Certified Public Accountant
who sold his practice to open the 1812 built New England bed and
breakfast, Kevin renovated and expanded the Dutch Iris Inn –
transforming it into one of the region’s most popular B &
B destinations.
As a central Connecticut business leader, Kevin has also become
an advocate for travel and tourism throughout New England and specifically
the Farmington Valley region, which includes many historic sites.
Kevin has a position on the board of the Old New-Gate Prison &

the MetroHartford Alliance.
Listed on the National Register as a “Historic Place”,
the Dutch Iris Inn has blossomed into a cozy, warm, yet very affordable
destination for many leisure and business travelers under Kevin
Marshall’s development. In 2004, Arrington’s Bed and
Breakfast Journal named the Dutch Iris Inn one of the best B&B/Inns
in the United States for customer service and in 2003, Arrington’s
again presented Kevin with one of the best B&B/Inn Awards for
his attractive getaway packages. In fact, Kevin’s “Tax
Preparation” weekend stay package was featured in many news
outlets, such as The New York Times, CNN and Washington Post, in
April 2003.
Kevin is a member of the Professional Innkeepers Association, New
England Innkeepers Association, Granby, CT Historical Society, Farmington
Valley Visitors Association, Granby Chamber of Commerce and the
