Travel
Talk Radio broadcasts to its listeners using conventional radio,
Internet radio (streaming audio), Web site content and television.
Celebrating travel as the perfect freedom, Sandy Dhuyvetter introduces
her audience to the world's top travel experts, destinations and
products in the market.
Sandy started producing and hosting Travel Talk Radio on the Internet
by streaming audio worldwide in August of 2001. Within 6 months
she began the conventional radio program from the Southern California
region at KFMB 760AM, (one of Southern California's most powerful
radio stations in terms of range of reach and content). Sandy also
offers travel tips on CNN's local headline news on Wednesday and
Thursdays and NBC Channel 4 in Los Angeles Tuesdays at the Midday
News.
Perhaps Pat Stein, writer for the Union Tribune expressed best
why Sandy is poised to be very successful. Taking from an article
written about Travel Talk Radio in the San Diego Union Tribune,
January 17, 2003, Pat Stein writes: "Her (Sandy's) connections
with the travel industry, love of travel and communication and Web
expertise all converged when Dhuyvetter launched the Travel Talk
Radio Internet program, which is accessed in 160 countries a month
."
"Travel Talk Radio is a wonderful use of the traditional medium
of radio, combined with the Internet, with both being used to effectively
inform the public about the treasure chest of travel opportunities
represented by tours and packages."
Hank Philips, President, National Tour Association 2001
"Sandy, you're great. What really strikes me is how constantly
innovative you are and the fact that you have fused radio, the web
and the travel trade, is very insightful".
Jake Steinman, Founder and President North American
Journeys 2001
